About This Role

We are seeking a temporary Sales Operations Coordinator to support the US Biologicals business during our main sales season. This role will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately, shipment details are coordinated across internal teams, and sales representatives and customers receive timely follow-up. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working across CRM and ERP systems, and able to follow established work instructions while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced seasonal environment.

This temporary role is intended to provide additional sales operations coverage during the main sales season. The role will focus on order processing, shipment coordination, customer and sales follow-up, and day-to-day operational support needed to keep seasonal order activity moving efficiently.

The assignment is expected to begin in mid-October and continue through mid-March, with possible extension through April, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and support customer orders by following documented work instructions, standard operating procedures, and seasonal business rules.

  • Navigate CRM and ERP systems to review account, order, shipment, and inventory information; systems may include Salesforce, Oracle, and related internal tools.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to confirm product availability, shipping timing, and order status.

  • Contact customers and sales representatives by phone or email to confirm missing, unclear, or time-sensitive order information.

  • Track order progress, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues that may affect fulfillment, shipment timing, or customer commitments.

  • Maintain accurate records of order updates, customer communications, and issue resolution steps in appropriate systems.

  • Support seasonal reporting, data clean-up, and administrative tasks that help the sales operations team maintain order accuracy and throughput.

  • Operate effectively in a high-volume environment where priorities may shift quickly and complete information may not always be available at the outset.

Qualifications

Required

  • Prior experience in sales operations, order management, customer operations, supply chain coordination, logistics, customer service, or a related operations support role.

  • Hands-on experience navigating CRM and ERP platforms, including but not limited to Salesforce and Oracle.

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions while exercising sound judgment when information is incomplete or ambiguous.

  • Comfortable calling customers, sales representatives, or internal partners to clarify order details and resolve issues.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.

  • Proficiency with common business tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and shared tracking files.

  • Availability to work core business hours aligned with U.S. Eastern or Central time zones.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting industries with large physical-goods orders, seasonal demand spikes, and timing-sensitive fulfillment requirements.

  • Experience coordinating shipments with supply chain, inventory, warehouse, logistics, or third-party fulfillment teams.

  • Familiarity with order-to-cash, purchase order, allocation, shipment tracking, or inventory availability workflows.

  • The rate for this position is $33/hour.

  • A candidate in U.S. Eastern or Central time zone is preferred.
